Job Overview

CoStar Group is seeking Photographers for a Fall Internship. As a Photographer, you will create high-quality, creative photos of schools and parks using your DSLR camera. This internship will give you the opportunity to capture the essence of your assigned city and showcase it through visual storytelling.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $25.00
  • Bonus incentives available for overachieving photographers
  • Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

  • Produce photographs of schools and parks that tell the story of the location
  • Utilize time of day, location, and photography expertise to capture the assignments effectively
  • Edit all photography in a timely fashion
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with the community if asked about your assignment
  • Coordinate efficiently with the management team to complete assignments
  • Timely and organized delivery of completed assignments

Requirements

  • Own a DSLR or mirrorless camera (no point-and-shoot cameras or iPhones)
  • Able to shoot in RAW format with a minimum of 20MP; JPGs - minimum 300 dpi and 3:2 aspect ratio
  • Must have a computer, editing software, and high-speed internet for editing and uploading images
  • Demonstrable moderate experience with photography and media editing
  • Full understanding of camera settings and access to Photoshop or Lightroom
  • Full access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Passion for photography
  • High school diploma coupled with photography knowledge
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
