Job Overview

CoStar Group offers an expansive set of global real estate information platforms as well as heavily trafficked real estate marketplaces such as Apartments.com, Homes.com, and LoopNet.com. CoStar delivers real-time, verified real estate data and media that helps clients confidently spot great opportunities and make smart decisions. We are now looking for Photographers who will create high quality, creative photos of schools and parks using their DSLR cameras. Assignments are regionally based allowing photographers to maximize their productivity in their assigned city. Spend your semester getting to know your city and introducing it to others through visual storytelling.

Compensation

  • This position offers an hourly rate of $25.00
  • Bonus incentives available for overachieving photographers
  • Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

  • Use your photography expertise to produce photographs of schools and parks, allowing the pictures to tell the story of the location.
  • Utilize time of day, location, and your expertise in photography to determine when and how to best photograph assignments.
  • Edit all photography in a timely fashion resulting in a completed project.
  • Professional and effective communication with the community if asked about your assignment.
  • Coordinate with the management team to efficiently complete assignments in a timely manner, maximizing productivity and good weather days.
  • Timely and organized delivery of completed assignments.

Requirements

  • Must possess your own acceptable level of camera equipment - DSLR or mirrorless camera, no point and shoot cameras or Iphones.
  • Able to shoot in RAW, minimum 20MP. JPGs - 300 dpi minimum, 3:2 aspect ratio.
  • Must have computer, editing software, and high-speed internet capable of editing and uploading images.
  • Demonstrable moderate experience with photography and media editing.
  • Own a DSLR camera - (SPECS)
  • Full understanding of camera settings
  • Knowledge of and access to Photoshop or Lightroom
  • Full access to reliable transportation, valid driver's license in cities where applicable
  • Passion for photography
  • High school diploma coupled with photography knowledge
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
