Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2024 Summer Intern - Manufacturing Engineer (ME) within the Planning functional organization. The Planning organization translates Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering requirements into a Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and manufacturing work instructions. Planning ME's have an integral role in Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' Digital Transformation using model-based engineering to drive the next generation Manufacturing Execution System.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $24,024 - $67,288. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of manufacturing work instructions
- Implement Engineering Change Notices
- Manage the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and type version effectivity
- Ensure alignment with Design and Manufacturing Engineering
- Contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related degree plan
