Job Overview

The RGA Internship Program provides students with invaluable work experience, allowing them to develop a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry and network with fellow interns and full-time associates. In this welcoming environment, students are encouraged to contribute their ideas, expand their technical and communication skills, and ask questions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and/or maintaining actuarial models.
  • Manipulate, summarize, and/or analyze large amounts of data.
  • Assist in developing, enhancing, and automating processes.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other RGA departments.

Requirements

  • Progress toward completion of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Intermediate PC and technical skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Proactive and accountable.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Skill in balancing detail with department goals and objectives.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, participating in department projects.
  • A1 actuarial exam is preferred for internship positions.
