We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Professional who is passionate about working on projects that drive our clients' businesses. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ, but we will also consider qualified candidates who can work remotely within the U.S. Join our dynamic team and contribute to projects such as semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and cutting-edge research facilities. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a telecom discipline lead for project leadership opportunities
  • Collaborate with design staff and architects to produce complex design packages
  • Interface with clients to design facilities that meet their needs
  • Use AutoCAD and Revit MEP design software to create fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines
  • Design outside plant (OSP) and inter/intra-building backbone distribution systems, communication room layouts, rack elevations, wired & wireless device plans, and cable schedules
  • Ensure designs and calculations comply with industry standards and specifications

Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction industry
  • Knowledge and application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and telecommunications industry association (TIA) standards
  • Experience leading a team of telecommunications design professionals
  • Experience editing design and construction specifications
  • Experience with start-up and commissioning of telecommunications systems
  • Experience estimating and scheduling design efforts for large multi-building projects
  • Strong background in structured cabling design
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Navisworks
