Torrance, California (30 minutes south of Downtown Los Angeles, California)

Job Overview

Honda offers Co-op and Internship opportunities for college students in various departments. As a Marketing Co-op/Intern, you will be involved in hands-on, project-based work related to your department. You will have the chance to develop new tests, design systems, and serve as a project manager. Additionally, you will have access to a variety of paid work events and experiences, including Q&A sessions with high-level associates, facility tours, social events, and volunteer opportunities. Compensation

  • Hourly Wage Range: $17.61 - $25.44
  • Pay will be based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Lead(s) in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business group
  • Study SaaS business opportunities, focusing on the Connected space
  • Build business cases for potential opportunities, including market sizing, financial simulation, and research
  • Support Customer Experience (CX) initiatives and the scaling up of initiatives for measurable results from digital systems
  • Coordinate production support and enhancement of CX products

Requirements

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (transcript required)
  • Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program studying Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered in California on a case-by-case basis)
  • Ability to provide own transportation to and from work each day (exceptions considered in California on a case-by-case basis)
  • Desired: Knowledge of social media platforms, skilled in research and data analysis, passion for sustainability and safety
