Job Overview

C3.ai, Inc. is seeking product design interns to join our Summer 2024 internship program. As a product design intern, you will work closely with our design team to drive our digital transformation mission. Your role will involve collaborating with other designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand customer issues and design innovative solutions. Strong facilitation, research, visual, and service design skills are required. Your portfolio presentation should demonstrate storytelling skills and a command of best practices and design principles.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $6,000 - $8,000 USD per month.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the product design team in translating high-level requirements and use cases into detailed process flows, wireframes, and product designs.
  • Support end-to-end interaction design, gaining alignment on the design of C3 AI products.
  • Think in terms of systems, considering the holistic user experience across all C3 AI products and tools.
  • Present your design work to a broad audience and communicate it clearly and concisely.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent areas.
  • Strong portfolio with 2-4 case studies demonstrating research, design iteration, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design skills.
  • Demonstrated design proficiency from relevant internships, work experience, personal projects, or schoolwork.
  • Strong user-centered design process.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about data, AI, and Machine Learning.
