School Leadership Internship Supervisor

Job Overview
The School Leadership Internship Supervisor serves as the faculty mentor to all assigned student interns. The Internship Supervisor ensures that all required student competencies are met and that all written coursework is completed to the highest standards. The Supervisor also provides a final course grade based on written coursework and assessments from the site supervisor.
Compensation
- Maximum Salary: USD $5,160.00/Sem
- Minimum Salary: USD $4,128.00/Sem
Responsibilities
- Review the candidate's internship agreement and suggest additional strategies for meeting competencies.
- Assess written assignments, including internship logs, reflection journals, research projects, and case studies.
- Provide written and oral feedback on course competencies to interns.
- Meet with the intern and site supervisor to review progress.
- Provide feedback and counsel to the intern through electronic means.
- Inform the School Leadership Department Chair of any major problems with the internship plan or intern performance.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- New York State administrative certification: SBL and SDL
- Five or more years of experience as a school/school district administrator
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Expertise in teacher supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Canvas LMS or willingness to complete training
