Job Overview
GE Aerospace Welding Engineering Co-ops/Interns gain broad exposure to varied areas of the Aircraft Engine and Aviation systems business. With our co-op/intern rotational program, students will work in a different area and at a different GE Aerospace site each co-op/intern rotation to ensure optimal learning and diverse work experiences. Ultimately, you'll be placed taking your preferences into account while also considering your major, year of schooling, and business needs the time.

Responsibilities
- Gain broad exposure to varied areas of the Aircraft Engine and Aviation systems business
- Participate in a co-op/intern rotational program, working in different areas and GE Aerospace sites
- Follow preferences, major, year of schooling, and business needs when assigning placements
Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding
- Reliable transportation, as many sites do not have public transportation available
- Attend a full-time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program
- Willingness and ability to work in any of the 40+ GE Aerospace US locations
- Meet the following criteria for access to export-controlled information:
- US Citizen or national
- US permanent resident
- Person granted refugee status
- Person granted asylee status or Beneficiary of legalization through an amnesty program
- Other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
- Degrees accepted:
- Welding Engineering
- Welding Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Materials Science/Engineering
- Other related majors to above
