Job Overview

  • Support the Human Resources Leadership Team in various HR functions utilizing specialized applications, tools, and platforms.
  • Complete assignments and special projects as assigned by HR department leaders.
  • Collaborate with other HR internship team members on a cross-functional HR capstone project.
  • Conduct research, compile analytics, and develop a team presentation for the HR Leadership Team.

Compensation

California Salary / Rochester Salary: $79,040

Responsibilities

  • Support the Human Resources Leadership Team in a select summer internship in various HR functions utilizing specialized applications, tools, and platforms
  • Complete assignments/special projects as assigned by HR center of excellence department leaders
  • Collaborate with other select HR internship team members on a cross-functional HR capstone project
  • Conduct research, compile analytics, and develop a team presentation to review the output of the capstone project with the HR Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing degrees/majors related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent program
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • On-the-job experience in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, time management, critical thinking, decision-making, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with multimedia and/or rapid development authoring tools is a plus
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries, basic understanding of relational databases, and/or experience with BI tools is a plus
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
