Compensation

Position range in Mid-Maryland Workforce Region:

  • $96k - $161k per year

Responsibilities

  • Develop and use models and simulations of adversary systems, characterizing their performance
  • Understand foreign missile systems to help design, develop, test, and evaluate defeat mechanisms
  • Analyze system level performance against threat missile systems, including developing novel concepts for their employment
  • Develop and test High Power Microwave weapons to defend against threat missile systems

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related degrees, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, C++, Java, or similar
  • Good analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance and ultimately obtain Secret level clearance
