Job Overview

Join our team at DIRECTV and make a difference in the world of entertainment. As a summer intern in our Advertising Sales organization, you will play a key role in shaping our advertising strategy and driving our evolution through data-driven decision making. Whether you're interested in Advertising Technology, Marketing, Campaign Analytics, Sales Planning, or Systems Implementation, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that define the future of DIRECTV. Compensation

$19 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Work on a scrum team, tackling data use cases with AI or machine learning and displaying results in our BI Tool (Looker)
  • Assist the Marketing and Product Marketing teams across various disciplines, including brand, creative, experiential, sales enablement, and training initiatives
  • Create post-campaign reports, generate campaign exposure, and establish industry/client baselines
  • Participate in the sales process from client-facing pitches to booking campaigns and viewing reporting
  • Contribute to the upcoming AOS migration, assisting with the implementation of a new order management system

Requirements

  • Open to all business, technology, and communications majors
  • Passionate about TV or digital advertising, ad tech, and media
  • Collaborative work style with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Power Query and Power BI
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Data-centric mindset
  • Familiarity with technology tools and languages, such as Agile Process, SQL, Python, Unix, Kubernetes, AWS, Snowflake, and API Development
