Job Overview

The Birmingham Community Charter High School is seeking an English Teacher for the upcoming school year. As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for creating a flexible and supportive learning environment for assigned students.

Responsibilities

  • Educate assigned students in the English subject area
  • Create a favorable classroom environment for learning and personal growth

Requirements

  • Single Subject Teaching Credential in English issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Full EL authorization preferred (ELA1/ CLAD)
  • Willingness to relocate to the San Fernando Valley if out of state
  • Documentation of required application materials
  • Full COVID Vaccination
  • Fingerprint Clearance
  • TB Clearance
  • Minimum of 3 outstanding professional references
