Meaden & Moore, a leading CPA and business consulting firm, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Accounting Intern. During this internship, you'll gain real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements. Your responsibilities will include evaluating physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes, reviewing financial and industry information, and conducting insurance claim and economic damage evaluations. This internship provides exposure to a wide range of industries, from small local retail stores to multinational entities.

Compensation

• Base hourly rates typically range between $20 - $30/hour.

Responsibilities

As a Forensic Accounting Intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating physical damage and business income losses
• Reviewing historical financial and industry information
• Analyzing revenue and expense projections
• Conducting insurance claim evaluations
• Performing economic damage evaluations

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• Junior or senior level student status
• Accounting major with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or better
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills at an intermediate or advanced level
• Openness to training in other Windows-based applications
• Motivation and enthusiasm to provide high levels of service and expertise to clients
