- If you are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Bioaerosol Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a similar major and thrive in an exciting and collaborative environment, join our team for the summer.
Compensation
- Competitive internship compensation
Responsibilities
- Learn standard biological and aerosol laboratory skills
- Gain experience in operating analytical instrumentation and supporting experiments
- Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and result presentation
- Work on projects related to the effects of the environment on biological organisms, genomic sequencing, metagenomic analysis, and analytical tool development
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Bioaerosol Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a similar major
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with biology-related fields and laboratory equipment
- U.S. Citizenship required for facility and network access (subject to applicable laws)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Matlab, Labview, Python, Java, and/or basic microbiology culture techniques.
