  • If you are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Bioaerosol Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a similar major and thrive in an exciting and collaborative environment, join our team for the summer.

Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Learn standard biological and aerosol laboratory skills
  • Gain experience in operating analytical instrumentation and supporting experiments
  • Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and result presentation
  • Work on projects related to the effects of the environment on biological organisms, genomic sequencing, metagenomic analysis, and analytical tool development

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Bioaerosol Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a similar major
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with biology-related fields and laboratory equipment
  • U.S. Citizenship required for facility and network access (subject to applicable laws)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Matlab, Labview, Python, Java, and/or basic microbiology culture techniques.
