Job Overview
As a Strategic Assurance and SOC Services (SASS) Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of engagements, including Readiness Assessments and examinations such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, HIPAA, and HITRUST projects. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to identify business processes and information technology controls that mitigate risks. You will also gain exposure to various areas of the practice and become an integral part of delivery teams.

Responsibilities
- Work with clients to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address business risks and issues, as well as supporting controls.
- Apply current knowledge of trends to identify business risk management issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Test and evaluate business processes and information technology controls to mitigate risk.
- Execute assigned client engagements from start to completion.
- Participate in client status updates and draft client deliverables.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned client operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Participate in recruiting efforts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, MIS, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel 20%-50% as required.
- Desire to pursue CPA, CISA, or CIA license/certification preferred.
