Job Overview
Ducks Unlimited, Inc., (DU) is seeking a Finance Intern to join our team at the National Headquarters in Memphis, TN. As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance team in executing finance and internal control functions. This internship provides valuable experience in the field of finance and offers the opportunity to work closely with professionals in the industry.
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Assist with internal controls to ensure proper control, monitoring, and safeguarding of company assets
- Support reviews and audits of state and local DU volunteer chapters on a random or by-request basis
- Investigate financial or operational matters or irregularities within the company and perform necessary audit reviews
- Contribute to the Regional Office Peer Review Program to promote efficient financial and reporting practices
- Help with annual financial budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Calculate and review sales and use tax obligations
- Calculate and track the annual State Operating Allowances/Rebate for state committees
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Requirements
- Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently or in a group
