Job Overview
Saab USA is seeking an intern to join their Finance Team at their advanced manufacturing operation in West Lafayette, IN. The ideal candidate is pursuing a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management, with an interest in Aerospace. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on designated projects, gain real-world experience in accounting operations, analyze business trends, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This internship will provide valuable skills and knowledge in the field of finance.

Responsibilities
- Completion of a designated internship project assigned by the department manager.
- Partner with assigned mentor to receive feedback and direction regarding the project assignment.
- Support finance team in analyzing current business trends to aid in decision-making process.
- Participate in day-to-day accounting operations and period closing activities.
- Gain working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Work closely with Finance leadership on continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in promoting a people-first culture.
- Deliver a final formal presentation to leadership and team members about achievements and experience.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited four-year university, pursuing Accounting/Finance.
- Completed Freshman year in academic curriculum as of hire date (fall 2023).
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other financial tools.
- Excellent communication and team building experience.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Self-driven with a high quality of work.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to drive and lead change.
