Job Overview
Qorvo is seeking a Design Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Cellular Engineering business group. As a Design Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of multiple functional blocks including power amplifiers, LNAs, switches, and acoustic filters. You will work with a team to meet performance requirements while considering factors such as size, cost, footprint, and schedule. Additionally, you will have the chance to work with RF measurement equipment and analyze real lab data. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Compensation
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of multiple functional blocks including power amplifiers, LNAs, switches, and acoustic filters
- Meet performance requirements while considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
- Produce designs with increasing complexity based on customer demands
- Adapt to new customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality
- Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
- Utilize signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters for data comparison
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Completed coursework in analog/RF circuit design
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment preferred
- Software exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Effective organization skills for planning and scheduling
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
