Job Overview
Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern in our Charlotte, NC office for Summer 2024. This internship offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for clients in the commercial and government sectors. Responsibilities include site/civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial site development and capital improvement projects. A housing stipend may be provided for this position.

Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of site/civil development, including grading design, roadway design, stormwater management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design
- Work on design teams to develop detailed design documents for construction plans
- Conduct code research and assist with specifications
Requirements
- Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Water CAD, and Storm CAD is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
