Job Overview

The Development Tools Software Engineer Intern will be focused on Validation tools and capabilities development. You will work with a Synthetic-OS Based Windows/Linux content generation tool to support feature validation across multiple product segments. We are looking for someone familiar with Intel IA architecture, software development, and system-level debugging.

Compensation

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role) Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Responsibilities

  • Writing content directed at the IA base architecture
  • Helping define and architect the structure for either Synthetic or OSBV based system content generator/validation tools
  • Helping define the validation content strategy at IP and Full Chip level for Intel products
  • Working within a scrum team to contribute to the development of an advanced test generation framework, PM/USB content
  • Assisting Debug leads on content enabling and debugging

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE
  • 3+ months of programming hands-on experience or equivalent knowledge in C/C++, Python
