Responsibilities

  • Read and accurately interpret drawings
  • Notify Project Manager of any conflicts
  • Produce shop drawings and calculations
  • Draft/draw necessary sketches and details using AutoCAD, Revit or other design tools
  • Produce calculations in a logical, reviewable and presentable format for internal review/approval and submission to the client
  • Perform structural calculations using analysis programs or manual methods as necessary to complete the calculations
  • Cooperatively work with team members to complete engineering tasks
  • Have all project drawings and calculations reviewed and approved by the Project Manager, and the Engineering Manager or General Manager
  • Provide assistance to General Manager, Engineering Managers and Project Managers to resolve project challenges and deadlines to the satisfaction of the client

Requirements

  • Candidate must be pursuing BS/BA in Civil Engineering
  • 2.5 Grade Point Average
  • Advanced math skills including geometry, calculus, and finite element methods
