Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret drawings
- Notify Project Manager of any conflicts
- Produce shop drawings and calculations
- Draft/draw necessary sketches and details using AutoCAD, Revit or other design tools
- Produce calculations in a logical, reviewable and presentable format for internal review/approval and submission to the client
- Perform structural calculations using analysis programs or manual methods as necessary to complete the calculations
- Cooperatively work with team members to complete engineering tasks
- Have all project drawings and calculations reviewed and approved by the Project Manager, and the Engineering Manager or General Manager
- Provide assistance to General Manager, Engineering Managers and Project Managers to resolve project challenges and deadlines to the satisfaction of the client
Requirements
- Candidate must be pursuing BS/BA in Civil Engineering
- 2.5 Grade Point Average
- Advanced math skills including geometry, calculus, and finite element methods
