Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and talented students who want to tackle complex challenges in financial technology. At CME Group, our technology teams are responsible for developing and maintaining ultra low-latency electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, and front-end trading interfaces. Join us in designing, building, and deploying customer-focused solutions in the world of finance.


  • Paid, full-time role
  • 10-12 week duration
  • Hybrid role based in our Chicago office


During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of applications and projects that directly impact the global trading ecosystem. Join our team and be involved in:

  • Application Development
  • System Design
  • Research and Proof of Concepts
  • DevOps and Cloud Migration
  • Automation


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Studying Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience writing code in Java
  • Passion for problem solving
