Job Overview

Join Ancestry, the global leader in family history, as a Mobile (iOS/Android) User Experience Design Intern. In this role, you will be a part of the Mobile apps team, contributing to the design of Ancestry's iOS and Android app. Help millions of people discover, craft, and connect around their family story.

Compensation

  • FULLY PAID temporary housing and travel to and from the internship provided.
  • Great compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • Apply our design system to new feature ideas.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure correct implementation.
  • Find simple solutions in partnership with Product/Engineering teams.
  • Receive valuable critique from other designers.

Requirements

  • Excellent visual and interaction design skills.
  • Familiarity with native mobile technologies and patterns.
  • Strong team player.
  • Eagerness to understand and engage with our customers.
  • Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD (We use Figma).
