Job Overview

The Dietetic Technician works closely with clients/residents, their families, and staff to provide guidance and education on nutrition and support on nutritional needs.


  • Part-time position (0.5 FTE)
  • Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday


  • Participate in meals and snacks with clients/residents and their families
  • Assist the dietitian in completing clinical tasks such as daily weight tracking, case management, group preparation, and meal planning
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of nutrition education materials
  • Coordinate the day-to-day ordering of external meal purchases
  • Receive orders and keep food storage areas clean and following food safety protocols
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain client confidentiality and privacy


  • Associates degree in Dietetic Technology or a Bachelors degree in Dietetics (without the internship)
  • One year of clinical or public health experience preferred
  • Previous eating disorder experience preferred
  • Valid drivers license and authorization to drive
