Job Overview
The Dietetic Technician works closely with clients/residents, their families, and staff to provide guidance and education on nutrition and support on nutritional needs.
Compensation
- Part-time position (0.5 FTE)
- Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Participate in meals and snacks with clients/residents and their families
- Assist the dietitian in completing clinical tasks such as daily weight tracking, case management, group preparation, and meal planning
- Assist with the creation and delivery of nutrition education materials
- Coordinate the day-to-day ordering of external meal purchases
- Receive orders and keep food storage areas clean and following food safety protocols
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy
Requirements
- Associates degree in Dietetic Technology or a Bachelors degree in Dietetics (without the internship)
- One year of clinical or public health experience preferred
- Previous eating disorder experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and authorization to drive
