Job Overview

GTI Energy's process engineering group is seeking an intern to assist in evaluating gas conversion processes in the summer of 2024. This position involves working with a team of professionals to assess low carbon impact technologies such as natural gas, biomass, and CO2 upgrading and conversion processes.

  • Set up and run lab and bench scale gas conversion processes under supervision.
  • Assist in catalyst synthesis.
  • Perform leak checks and general troubleshooting.
  • Use gas chromatography to evaluate product composition.
  • Calculate conversion and yield.
  • Assist in report reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Completion of at least one analytical chemistry course at the undergraduate level.
  • Completion of at least one chemistry lab course at the undergraduate level.
