Job Overview

The Lab Technologist, MLT or Medical Technologist (CLS), at Park Falls, WI, performs in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens according to established procedures for routine and specialized areas of the Laboratory. This individual also participates in supportive functions including but not limited to quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens.
  • Follow established procedures for routine and specialized areas of the Laboratory.
  • Participate in quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASC) or American Medical Technologist (AMT).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience with Laboratory Information Systems is beneficial.
