Stevens Point, WI
Job Overview
The Medical Technologist or MLT will perform in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens in the Laboratory. This includes routine and specialized areas of the Laboratory. The role also involves quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution.
Compensation
This is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly shift of 40 hours. The work shift is 7/70, night shifts (United States of America).
Responsibilities
- Perform in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens
- Follow established procedures
- Participate in quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
- Certification or eligibility for certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASC) or American Medical Technologist (AMT)
- No minimum experience required, but previous laboratory experience is recommended
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is beneficial
