Job Overview

The Medical Technologist or MLT will perform in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens in the Laboratory. This includes routine and specialized areas of the Laboratory. The role also involves quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly shift of 40 hours. The work shift is 7/70, night shifts (United States of America).

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens
  • Follow established procedures
  • Participate in quality control, instrument operation, troubleshooting, teaching/training, and problem resolution

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASC) or American Medical Technologist (AMT)
  • No minimum experience required, but previous laboratory experience is recommended
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is beneficial
