- Internships are available in various work arrangements, including onsite and fully remote in the US.
- Competitive salary and housing stipend for onsite interns in Illinois.
- Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.
- Shure is building technology solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) industry.
- The Application Software Development Intern will join the Stem Ecosystem PDD Team in Irvine, CA.
- Responsibilities include building back-end and client-side web applications.
Compensation
- Shure offers a competitive compensation structure based on market analysis and economic best practices.
- Base salaries range between $26 and $44, with a midpoint target to allow for short-term growth and monetary awards for Associates.
- All positions include an award-winning benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of web applications using React and Node.Js.
- Assist with the implementation of RESTful APIs using SQL and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with developers to improve usability and user experience.
- Assist developers with coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the creative design, development, and implementation of complex applications using new technologies and best practices.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
Requirements
- In-process of a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a proactive and continuous learner.
- Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills.
- Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, team player, detail-oriented.
- Able to meet required deadlines.
- Proficient with markup languages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and styling React components.
- Proficient with browser testing and debugging, cross-platform issues, and resolution.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
