As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated HVAC solutions for complex buildings. You will also perform engineering analysis and modeling, document system design, and communicate technical ideas to various audiences. Compensation

DOE (Dependent on Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services within the built environment, with a focus on sustainable design
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings
  • Perform engineering analysis and modeling using available software and excel spreadsheet
  • Document system design in Revit MEP and Bluebeam
  • Communicate technical ideas using various formats, including presentations and workshops
  • Write reports documenting calculation methods, design assumptions, and other technical information

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
  • Coursework in heat transfer and thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or HVAC design
  • Developing interest in the built environment
  • Proven leadership experience and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas effectively
  • Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, and creativity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
  • Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future
