Job Overview
At Medline, we are seeking an IS Business Systems Analyst Intern to join our Logistics team for the Summer of 2024. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. You will work on projects to enhance our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to drive efficiency and improve our operations. This internship is designed to provide you with personal and professional development while contributing to our entrepreneurial culture. Compensation
We offer competitive compensation for this internship position.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead projects related to our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Implement new features in the applicable business systems
- Assist in mapping out processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in documentation and data flow
- Implement robotic process automation to streamline manual processes
- Analyze system issues in our distribution centers and propose solutions
Requirements
- Junior standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Background in Engineering or Computer Science
- Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization, communication, data analysis, and follow-up skills
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
