Job Overview
The Finance Internship at Continental is a developmental role within the Controlling department, offering a unique opportunity to support a new facility start-up. Located in New Braunfels, Texas, this $110 million facility specializes in manufacturing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving. As a Finance Intern, you will gain practical experience in the accounting function of the production facility and contribute to the successful organization of its accounting processes. This 12-week position is scheduled from May 20, 2024, to August 9, 2024.

Responsibilities
- Assist in inventory valuation activities
- Collaborate with the logistics team to determine potential obsolescence of inventory
- Partner with Engineering to analyze the costing of products
- Support other controlling duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business-related studies
- 3.0 overall GPA or higher
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with common software products such as: Windows 10, IOS, Microsoft Office, O365, and Internet Browsers
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
