Job Overview
The Assembly Industrial Engineering Internship at Continental is a unique opportunity to support the start-up of a new facility in New Braunfels, Texas. The facility, with a budget of $110 million, will manufacture Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving. As an IE Assembly Intern, you will gain practical experience in the Assembly function and contribute to the successful operations of the new facility. This position will last for 12 weeks, from May 22, 2023 to August 11, 2023.

Responsibilities
- Collect cycle time information and implement improvement ideas in the production area and logistics operations (Warehouse)
- Assist with the post-installation release process, including machine capability analysis, quality, and safety
- Support improvement activities for OEE, Yield, Scrap, and DPMO
- Assist with other Engineering duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or other related studies
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. No employment visas will be sponsored for this job opening.
