Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to gain a broad perspective on how their work supports the enterprise's business goals.
  • Execute UI testing and debug issues on the backend.
  • Write test cases, execute them, and log defects.
  • Conduct web testing in UI and end.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, Selenium web Drive, SoapUI, Browser stack, and Postman.
  • Learn technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, Maven, and GitHub Actions.

Requirements

  • College student graduating from December 2024 to May 2026, majoring in IT or related fields.
  • Enrolled at the University of South Florida (USF).
  • Minimum of 20 hours of work per week year-round with a GPA of 3.0 and above.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing school, work, and personal life.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and its process.
  • Familiarity with Jira for writing test cases and logging defects.
  • Understanding of Postman, SOAPUI, and Webservices.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and ability to write basic queries.
  • Experience in web testing, both UI and end.
  • Familiarity with Selenium Automation for web testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and a passion for deal-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
