GE Aerospace - Inspection Engineering Intern - Summer 2024
Job Location
Springdale, OH 45246
Job Overview
- Gain broad exposure to state-of-the-art inspection technologies in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with inspection equipment and data analytics for aircraft engine components
- Summer placement based on preferences, major, year of schooling, and business needs
Compensation
- Pay rates begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed
- Relocation support and housing assistance available for those who relocate
Responsibilities
- Utilize state-of-the-art inspection technology to ensure component quality requirements are met
- Work with engineers to implement nondestructive testing methods
- Projects include inspection design, data collection, digital image analysis, and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Required degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Computer Engineering and Engineering, Computer Science, or related major
- Attending a full-time nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program
- Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore)
- Reliable transportation required (many sites lack public transportation)
- Willingness and ability to work in any of the 40+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations
- Willing and available to work in Evendale, OH; Springdale, OH; or West Chester, OH
