Job Overview
- Rehrig Pacific Company's Plant Engineering Interns are responsible for identifying and implementing solutions to improve performance and operational costs.
- Collaborate with other plant resources to create safe, stable, and reliable manufacturing processes and systems.
- Drive operational excellence.
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Lead or support various technical work and activities within the plant including engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and tooling.
- Maintain a deep understanding of plant infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
- Consistently reduce operational waste and costs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Provide technical support to the local plant and the organization.
- Perform in-depth analyses to identify system gaps and issues.
- Maintain accurate plant layouts, floor plans, and system schematics.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Manufacturing or equivalent).
- Project management experience, including knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is preferred.
- Experience with coding and programming is preferred.
- Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.
