Job Overview
As a Civil Engineer Intern, you will work with the Civil Works team and serve as a resource for an assigned function. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience at an employee-owned engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company. You will have access to learning opportunities through mentorship and co/lab trainings, as well as networking opportunities with leading experts in the industry.

Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawings
- Perform a variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
- Prepare basic calculations
- Assist in basic equipment selection
- Coordinate with other disciplines
- Schedule project deliverables
- Collect, organize, and evaluate data
- Analyze systems utilizing computer modeling
- Organize and file project materials and references
Requirements
- Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering program with emphasis in Structural, Environmental, Transportation, or Geotechnical
- Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Mathematical skills
- Computer skills
