AGCO is seeking a dedicated Data Analytics intern to join our team at AGCO, located in our core AgTech hub. Compensation

This is a paid, part-time internship for Spring 2024. Students are required to work 15-20 hours per week. Based on performance, this internship can continue across several semesters (i.e., full time in the summer, part-time during the academic school year).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, clean, and analyze complex datasets, focusing on the AgTech industry.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, databases, and ETL processes utilizing Python, SQL, and AWS services.
  • Utilize data analytics tools for data cleansing, processing, and transformation to optimize and enhance the quality of datasets.
  • Leverage AWS and other technologies to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and access across the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with AGCO business units, stakeholders, and product owners, facilitating data-backed decision-making.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and adjust data-driven solutions to align with the Farmer First focus and AGCO's core values and objectives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Decent knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and AWS for data storage and processing.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including ETL processes, database management, and data analytics.
  • Ability to understand and work with complex datasets and tools like Python and SQL.
