Job Overview
- We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering groups in our Jacksonville, FL office.
- The intern will primarily work with associates based in Jacksonville, FL, assisting the Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering Groups.
- Transportation Development projects include a variety of widening, new location, intersection, interchange, and tolling projects at various stages of project development.
- The Traffic Engineering Group responsibilities include crash analyses, traffic volume forecasts, and traffic operations analyses for highway projects.
- The intern will provide key support on tasks related to project planning efforts.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering Groups in project-related tasks.
- Collaborate with different teams to meet project deadlines.
- Work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to the company's mission and core values.
Requirements
- Current student studying Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework that includes Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, and/or Traffic Engineering.
- Experience with traffic analysis tools (HCS, Synchro, and Sidra) and traffic simulation modeling (TransModeler and VISSIM).
- Previous internship experience.
- Exposure to ArcGIS.
