Job Overview
Join PHFE WIC to grow a rewarding community nutrition career while empowering parents to raise healthy families. As a Nutritionist RDN, you will provide nutrition counseling, education, and support services to WIC participants. In this hybrid position (work from home/office), you will assist the supervisor in overseeing all client services and managing staff at an assigned WIC site while providing excellent customer service, working cooperatively in a team, and problem-solving.
Compensation
- Starting Rate: $31.91 - $38.82 per hour (salary will be commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
- Serves applicants and participants using the WIC WISE system
- Provides breastfeeding education and support
- Facilitates group discussions
- Communicates with WIC participants using current technology
- Assists supervisor with staff management, development, and WIC center management
- Counsels, documents, and disciplines staff
- Prepares performance evaluations
- Conducts quality assurance and breastfeeding education and support
- Liaison between other agencies co-located within the WIC center
- Assists in upkeep of WIC facilities
- Able to work at any WIC site based on program necessity
- Transports staff and supplies to clinic sites as needed
- Follows up on any issues regarding office equipment and supplies
- Attends all required WIC sponsored training modules, meetings, and seminars
- Supports/participates in special projects and outreach activities
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Excellent English verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills
- Ability to use computer applications like MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to problem solve and deal with unresolved situations
- Must be able to secure timely transportation to fulfill job duties
