Job Overview
Lennox International (LII) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and collaborate with our business leaders. You will also have the chance to attend lunch and learns, participate in fun activities, and immerse yourself in our company culture. This internship will provide valuable experience and the potential for future full-time employment with Lennox International.
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation for this internship position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, design, and testing of air-conditioners, heat pumps, air-handlers, and gas furnaces.
- Partner with Senior Engineers in qualification and reliability testing.
- Design, execute, and document experiments while analyzing data and drawing conclusions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated interest in learning formal engineering practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory tools such as multi-meters and micrometers.
- Proficient in PC applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Quick learner and able to contribute effectively to new projects and technologies.
