Data Analytics Intern - Energy Management System

Alpharetta, GA
Job Overview
Stryten Energy, a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, is seeking a Data Analytics Intern for their Energy Management System group. This full-time internship will take place from May 2024 to August 2024, and will require the intern to be onsite daily. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to apply analytics techniques on a large and diverse dataset from IoT connected assets.
Compensation
This is a paid internship opportunity. However, please note that housing and transportation will not be provided.
Responsibilities
During your internship, you will be responsible for:
- Applying analytics techniques on a large set of diverse data from IoT connected assets
- Working on algorithms to map normal and abnormal behavior
- Conducting anomaly detection, shifting from reactive to prediction
- Utilizing AI tools for data analysis
- Creating data visualizations using Tableau and Grafana
Requirements
We are looking for students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Data Engineering program
- Expected to graduate between December 2023 and May 2025
- GPA of 3.5 or greater
- Must have housing and transportation
- Available to work onsite daily
