Job Overview
The Securing Top Academic Research Talent at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (START HBCU) Institute is offering internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students at Sandia National Laboratories. As a Computer Science Intern, you will work closely with a team of researchers and interns on issues of national significance. This collaborative research opportunity covers a wide range of areas in computer science, applied mathematics, computational science and engineering, computational neuroscience and cognitive science.

- Collaborate with researchers and interns on research projects with national significance
- Participate in research across various areas related to computer science and mathematics
- Apply computational methods to scientific and engineering applications
- Engage in a highly collaborative research environment
Requirements
- Earned bachelor's degree
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
- U.S. citizenship
- Currently attending a Historically Black College or University
