Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop strong relationships with customers.
• Learn from store and pharmacy team members, as well as field leadership.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Review and comply with pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Perform assigned duties related to prescription processing and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty.
• Adhere to the company's policies and procedures regarding dispensing medication in good faith.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and handle cash as required.
• Assist with inventory management activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Pharmacy Department.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills.
