Job Overview
At Sentry, we offer an exceptional internship experience for college students aspiring to become software engineers. As an intern, you'll work closely with a mentor to gain hands-on experience in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining programs and systems. You'll also have the opportunity to network and attend social events, connecting with leadership in various areas. We value your growth and success, and aim to provide you with the tools and knowledge to kick-start your career.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation

- Meal stipend/allowance (location-dependent)
- Equipment necessary for remote work, including laptop and monitors
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with your mentor to develop and update programs using the latest technologies in an Agile development environment
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all systems
- Interact with user groups and IT personnel, both within and outside the organization
- Analyze and resolve systems problems to minimize disruptions
Requirements
To be eligible for this elite opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field
- Minimum in-major GPA of 3.0
- Graduating in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Note: This position does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for practical experience purposes
