Job Overview

SWBC is seeking talented students to join our College Intern Program in San Antonio, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for college students who are motivated and eager to learn within their educational field of study. Interns will gain practical hands-on experience and training that will provide an opportunity for growth, learning, and development within the financial services industry. Full-time and part-time paid internship opportunities will be available in numerous departments.

Responsibilities

  • Create original designs for a variety of marketing initiatives (digital ads, internal communication pieces, social media, print media) using SWBC's brand guidelines.
  • Create designs for social media and internal communications using established templates.
  • Build layouts for printed brochures, eBooks, and white papers using SWBC's brand guidelines.
  • Work directly with our internal print shop to complete print orders for marketing materials.
  • Make edits to designed pieces and finalize files for production and distribution.
  • Work within SWBC Marketing's processes and procedures to get feedback, approvals, and finalize projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or recently graduated from an accredited university/college in Graphic Design or related program with a graduation date of August 2023 or later.
  • Possess strong design and typography skills.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Able to meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Possess a passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of individuals.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
