Job Overview
- Support roadway engineering group on highway design projects for clients such as state, county, and municipal transportation agencies.
- Work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, and data collection.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusion, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to the roadway engineering group on highway design projects.
- Perform field investigations to verify and evaluate existing roadway conditions, signing, and pavement marking.
- Manage and achieve scheduled milestones, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks on assigned projects and tasks.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- Must be at least a rising Junior.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to perform field investigations and verify/evaluate existing roadway conditions, signing, and pavement marking.
- Ability to manage and achieve scheduled milestones, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks on assigned projects and tasks.
- Ideally, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, working knowledge of MicroStation, previous internship related to field of study, ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs, and self-driven time management and organizational skills.
