Job Overview

The Autonomous Systems and Robotics Specialist applies their expertise to research and design autonomous robotic capabilities for data collection.

Compensation

  • Starting salary: $72,030 - $170,800 (Higher starting salary possible depending on experience level)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on control systems and employ a wide range of AI techniques, including deep learning and machine learning, multi-agent systems, expert systems, and mixed-initiative human-machine teaming
  • Improve the performance of collection systems and enable faster, deeper, and better-explained insights from data
  • Enable human-machine teaming and put the right insights before the right experts algorithmically
  • Work with teams of world-class experts, both internal and external to the organization
  • Develop expertise through continuing education, academic and conference participation, and on-the-job training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a quantitative science, engineering, or other STEM field
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
  • Experience in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) related field
  • Good fundamental understanding of a range of AI techniques and ability to match techniques to problems
  • Creativity, initiative, integrity, and leadership abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a diverse team environment
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to complete a background investigation
