Job Overview

Requirements

  • Applicants must demonstrate that they meet Minimum Qualification AND Recent Graduate Eligibility requirements as noted below.
  • To qualify for this position at the GS-9 grade level, you must meet ONE requirement (A,B, or C) below:
    • A. Have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or completion of at least two full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or LL.B or J.D in a directly related field of study (for example, human resources, business, public administration, management, social sciences) that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by this position. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be determined from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as equivalent to 1 year of full-time study. (Must submit official or unofficial transcripts with your application to verify eligibility.)
    • B. GS-09: Applicant must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing ALL of the following: Compiling HR-related data (for example, survey responses, time and attendance data, job analyses, workforce demographics) for review; Collaborating with senior staff to resolve HR-related issues and develop solutions.
