- Full-time internship opportunity with William P. Young Company, a non-affiliated company of Plastipak Packaging Inc.
- Gain a unique engineering professional development experience
- Experience all phases of a project, including discovery, design, and installation of production machines or lines
- Learn from a highly skilled team of engineers, machine designers, and builders
- Develop valuable experience in the packaging industry
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Assist in various phases of projects, including discovery, design, build, and installation
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, machine designers, builders, and more
- Take on day-to-day responsibilities as assigned
- Follow detailed work plan with defined projects
- Receive support and guidance from a mentor and buddy throughout the summer
- Participate in formal professional development sessions (20+ hours)
- Attend networking events with leaders and professionals across the company
- Gain exposure to the business, industry, and career paths
- Engage in social activities
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to commute to Plymouth, MI
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Expected graduation date of Fall 2024 or Spring 2025
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
